Mopar has been an iconic presence at the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas and the accessory brand confirms that it will be bringing a rugged Ram 2500-based creation to the event with a new teaser image suggesting that it will be a beats out on the trail.
Stellantis may be taking its fair share of lumps these days with collapsing sales and trouble on multiple fronts, but the auto giant is still out to prove that it knows how to create wild custom creations when asked to do so. That includes making a splash at the annual SEMA event in Las Vegas with Mopar spearheading their efforts when it comes to making wild concepts to wow show attendees.
Their latest creation appears ready to continue that tradition with Mopar releasing a new teaser image showing a Ram-based custom rig that will be making its appearance at SEMA this coming November which will show that the accessory market is still a strong cash cow for the company even when going through rough times.
Mystery concept based on Ram 2500
Not much is known about the mystery concept with Mopar not only keeping key details about the truck to itself but also releasing a bird’s eye view rendering of the front of the truck for its lone teaser image. However, the accessory brand did leave a clue for buyers to chew on with this statement which says “Obstacles on the job site or the trail are no match for this beastly full-size concept.”
That brief quote seems to confirm that the truck will be a potent off-roader with the beastly portion of its moniker confirming it will be built on the Ram 2500. It remains to be seen what Mopar will equip to the truck to make it more trailready since the 2500 itself already has plenty of capability out of the box in the form of the Power Wagon and Rebel variants but perhaps the concept will come with beefier off-road equipment and other add-ons to help advertise the large pool of accessories available for the truck. The teaser image does little to confirm our theories but the light brown paint, beige recovery points on the front bumper and the accompanying winch suggest that it will be a valuable tool out on the work site.

Will Stellantis bring more concepts to SEMA?
While the truck appears to be the only concept that Stellantis will bring to the event, we wouldn’t be shocked if the company still has a few more surprises in store for enthusiasts ahead of the event. The accessory market is a booming business for Stellantis with the company getting a large chunk of its profits from accessory sales with Mopar being a key cog in the company’s broader sales machine
While the Jeep brand is often the focus of attention when it comes to how Stellantis promotes itself, it can be easy to forget that Mopar also offers accessories for other brands including Dodge, Fiat, and even Chrysler. As such, Stellantis will be determined to show off just how vast its lineup of accessories can be and SEMA-bound concept vehicles are one way to help get the word out to potential customers.
