BMW unveils 2025 M5 Pebble Beach Concour d’Elegance #1/1. Bespoke one-of-a-kind BMW is result of a collaboration between the company and the prestigious event. The 2025 BMW M5 will also be the first M5 in history to be powered by a hybrid-equipped V8 with the first examples scheduled to make their way to the U.S. this fall.
When the 2025 BMW M5 made its debut at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed earlier this month, it signaled a major shift in the M5’s trajectory with the super sedan now embracing hybrid power after resisting it for so long. The new twin-turbo V8 also makes it the most powerful M5 ever made and BMW is hoping that it will help breathe new life into M5 sales.
The company is now preparing to launch the model in the U.S. and to help celebrate this occasion, it has collaborated with the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance to not only debut the model at the prestigious event, but to also create the 2025 M5 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance #1/1 a bespoke one-off that will be auctioned off to a lucky bidder.
M5 #1/1 is the result of a unique collaboration
The 2025 BMW M5 Pebble Beach #1/1 is the result of a collaborative effort between the company and the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and while the model itself is mostly carried over from the standard car when it comes to the core essentials, BMW stylists chose to focus on making the car’s styling a unique expression of its bespoke identity. This particular M5 will be the only one built that will be adorned with BMW Individual Frozen Orange Metallic which is supposed to be inspired by sunsets. The color was also scheduled to be discontinued at BMW’s Plant Dingolfing prior to the start of 2025 M5 production and BMW had to paint the car weeks in advance to ensure it could get the color on it. As a result, this particular M5 will be the only 2025 model built with this color.
The paint is complimented by hand-painted orange accents on the M dual-spoke bi-color wheels with the front tires getting 20-inch wheels while the rears get slightly bigger 21-inch hoops. The interior of the #1/1 also gets some attention with the M Multi-function sport seats getting Kylami Orange and Silverstone Extended Merino leather with this combination also being exclusive to the #1/1 model. The headrests also get the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance logo with the emblazoned logo being applied using new printing technology. Carbon fiber is also used on the dashboard and the Pebble Beach and #1/1 logos make their respective appearances in a small corner to the right of the Curved Display screen. BMW says that this particular M5 has over $57,000 in bespoke options with the bulk of the finish work being done at the M works facility in Garching where the first two generations of M5 were hand-built.

Auctioned off for a good cause
In addition to being a distinctive piece of M5 history, the #1/1 will also be achieving the greater good with the car being auctioned off by the Gooding & Company auction house during Pebble Beach Automotive Week on August 16th. The proceeds from this auction will be donated to the Pebble Beach Company Foundation which works to enhance youth education for the Children of Monterey Bay. This bespoke creation will also be the first M5 delivered in North America with the company saying it will be formally delivered to its new owner in October.
