Chrysler Lives! 2027 Pacifica Minivan Gets Updates

by | March 11, 2026

The recent shuffle of top executives at Stellantis forced many to look again to see if Chrysler was still alive. If new leadership alone won’t assuage you, perhaps the arrival of the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica might.

Once the king of the minivan world, the 2027 Chrysler Pacifica is more like second in line for the throne.

Once the king of the minivan world, it’s more like second in line for the throne, but Stellantis is smart enough to make sure it’s a strong competitor in a very tough segment, battling with longtime foes the Honda Odyssey and Toyota Sienna. The Kia Carnival is also making waves with clever styling and affordability.

Some tweaks

The 2027 Pacifica introduces a sharpened exterior, upgraded interior options, expanded technology packages and new standard features — all designed to give customers greater choice, comfort and confidence than ever before.

“Chrysler created the minivan 43 years ago, and we fully intend to continue leading the segment we invented,” said Matt McAlear, Chrysler CEO. “For the 2027 model year, Pacifica builds on the innovation and comfort our customers expect, with a refreshed exterior design, new safety and convenience features and smarter tech.

The Pacifica Pinnacle features a rear seat entertainment system with Amazon Fire TV.

“And true to its legacy, the Pacifica continues to celebrate all of its innovative, award-winning features, like class-exclusive Stow ‘n Go seating in both the second and third rows, FamCAM, seven- or eight-passenger seating capability and the smart functionality that has made our Chrysler minivans a trusted member of countless families.”

What’s new

The new model features three trim levels — Select, Limited and Pinnacle — and all of them get a revised front fascia with vertical head lights and an illuminated grille. On the back, there is a new Chrysler wing logo and rear liftgate applique, giving it a more contemporary look.

New exterior paint colors and new wheel designs offer more personalization across the model lineup. The new Pacifica LX, formerly the Voyager, retains its familiar exterior design while offering a budget-friendly entry point, well-equipped with power sliding doors plus heated seats and steering wheel.

Interior updates are minimal but impactful, including the new satin chrome Chrysler wing badge on the steering wheel. The top-of-the-line Pinnacle model gets a new and exclusive color for 2027: Blue Agave. It also features Copper Alloy accent bezels, keeping the jewel tones consistent throughout. The deco trim on the instrument panel is finished in new Dark Platinum Paint, while the seats feature a new “Parquet” perforation pattern and Tungsten Patina piping.

Tech updates

Minivan buyers are always looking for the next technology tweak, and the Pacifica doesn’t disappoint for the 2027 model year. Passenger safety continues to be a focal point when it comes to new technology, and the Safety Sphere Package includes Turn Signal-activated Blind Spot View and ParkSense-based Camera Activation, increasing driver visibility and situational awareness.

The 100th anniversary minivan disappears for the 2027 model year.

It also splits the Uconnect Theater Package and the newly named Family Tech Group, thus permitting owners to choose the features that matter most to them, whether that’s Amazon Fire TV built-in, FamCAM interior camera monitoring, premium audio, additional power outlets, or second- and third-row features.

A new adjustable-height power liftgate becomes standard across all trims, offering easier access for drivers of all heights and improved convenience in low-clearance spaces.

Making a move

The new Pacifica is slated to begin arriving this summer, but the order books are open right now for those looking for a specific setup.

The base LX – previously the Voyager — starts at $41,495. It’s the only variant not available with all-wheel drive, unlike the Select, Limited and Pinnacle models. The Select starts at $44,545, and the AWD model jumps to $47,890. The 2027 Pacifica tops out at $58,255, not including the destination fee.
