By now, you know the Mercedes-Benz Geländewagen. It’s the most iconic SUV to wear the three-pointed star. Manufactured alongside the Pinzgauer, both were developed and built by Steyr-Daimler-Puch for German military use. Now known as the Mercedes-Benz G-Glass, it retains some essence of the original, but is far more opulent. And it’s about to be transformed once more, this time without an internal combustion engine.
