Originally introduced in pure concept form at the 2022 Paris Motor Show, French automaker Alpine apparently has some serious plans for the Alpenglow hypercar. A running version, dubbed the Alpine Alpenglow Hy4 is set to take to the track for the 6-hour Spa-Francochamps endurance race this weekend. What stands out is not just the exotic design and impressive performance but the fact that the Hy4 uses a hydrogen-powered internal combustion engine.
Genesis intends to put more emotion into its brand, as it set out to prove during a Monday evening news event ahead of the New York International Auto Show. The Korean luxury brand confirmed plans to launch an all-new line-up of performance models starting with the GV60 Magma, a version of its compact all-electric SUV. Separately, Genesis also unveiled the Neolun Concept, an all but ready-for-production SUV flagship.
Dodge lifted the covers today on the eagerly awaited Charger Daytona. The replacement for the brand’s ancient muscle car line-up made its debut in concept form barely 18 months ago, billed as “the world’s first all-electric muscle car.” But Dodge offered up a few surprises during a media briefing: it will not only offer three distinct performance versions of the Daytona EV but add both 2- and 4-door models.
