Goodwood display hints at what’s coming next for Ineos as it prepares to expand its presence in the SUV segment.
Off-road beast maker Ineos plans to push back production of its first all-electric model, the Fusilier SUV, from 2027 to an unknown introduction date. Ineos produces two off-road focused vehicles, the Grenadier and Quartermaster, and introduced the Fusilier in February. Get more details at Headlight.News.
Ineos channels rugged pickups with the 2025 Quartermaster. Rugged Grenadier underpinnings mix with impressive pickup capability to produce a unique offering.
The Jeep Wagoneer S Trailhawk Concept is a more rugged version of the all-electric Wagoneer S the automaker revealed in New York on Thursday. Capable of rock-crawling and deep-water fording, it’s designed to take on the same sort of challenges as gas-powered Trailhawk models do today. A production version is likely, Jeep officials said. But it’s by no means the only automaker exploring a potentially big market for off-road-ready EVs.
Nascent vehicle maker Ineos plans to charge $14,000 more for its new Grenadier Quartermaster pickup than its initial offering, the Grenadier SUV. The Quartermaster’s pricing starts at $86,900 and can be optioned up past $113,000. Get details at Headlight.News.
Ineos, the automotive startup focused on extreme off-road SUVs, unveiled what is set to become its third product line Friday, and the Fusilier will offer buyers two “green” powertrain options when it comes to market sometime in 2027, said company chairman Jim Ratcliffe.
Ford may be slowing its $11-billion EV investment program but it’s still rolling out new entries, and two of them will make their debut at the Chicago Auto Show this coming week. Notably, both the Mustang Mach-E Rally and F-150 Lightning Switchgear take aim at those looking for off-road-capable battery-electric vehicles, a growing EV niche. See the story at Headlight.News.
